Muslim faithful have been reminded to sustain the tempo of good deeds, pious and charitable activities displayed during the ongoing holy of Ramadan to be called righteous Muslims.
A Muslim cleric and the Chief Imam of Afin Akoko Ansar ud deen society of Nigeria, Sheik Hamidu Yusuf Yaya submitted Eriti Akoko during the Ramadan lecture of the League of Imams and Alfas in Akoko North-West local government area of Ondo State.
The cleric noted that going back to the bad behaviors and deeds after Ramadan will amount to vanity upon vanity.
Sheik Yusuf added that the gate of Aljanah is widely opened for people to repent their sins and to embark on charity, particularly to the needy.
The special guest of honour at the occasion and former national organizing Secretary of Ansar ud deen Society of Nigeria, Alhaji Ibrahim kilani advocated for more religious peaceful coexistence and cross-fertilization of ideas that will promote national unity in the country.
The Muslim leader who doubled as the Chairman of the Nigerian Inter-Religious Council (NIREC) in the local government cautioned preachers of both major religions to be cautious of their preachings so as not to cause disharmony.
The event was witnessed by notable Muslim leaders among whom are Alhaji Amodu Bello, Chairman League of Imam, Sheik BasiruAminu of Niscia, Alhaji Bakai momodu Adsn, Akoko Secretary, Alhaji Razak Atareaku and the Chief Imam of Eriti Akoko Sheik Aruna Aluko to mention a few kilani.
