Workers’ Day: SSG calls for support to Akeredolu’s administration


The Secretary to Ondo State Government( SSG) Princess Oladunni Odu, has called  workers in the state to remain proactive and supportive to the agenda and policies of the administration of Gov. Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.

In a statement on Monday to felicitate with workers in the state, Odu said that Akeredolu had fulfilled his promise not to owe workers salaries.

She added that Akeredolu had been paying workers’ salaries  as and when due, approved increase in monthly pension of retirees and had been able to transform the state  better than he met it since he came on board.

The SSG urged workers in the state to reciprocate the actions of the governor by providing needed support that would enable this administration carry out meaningful projects and leave it better than he met it.

Odu also called on workers not to relent in their efforts to deliver quality and efficient services that would  yield outstanding and highly resourceful public service.
” Gov. Akeredolu has devotedly considered workers’ welfare as priority, so to whom much is being given, much is expected,” she said.

Odu also raised  workers  to serve as agents of change in their various beats, adding that the task of building a better state  was a collective one and must be taken with all levels of diligence.

The SSG wished workers more blissful and stress-free celebration and assured all residents of the state that Gov.  Akeredolu would not relent at carrying out more life benefiting projects and programmes that would  make the state  exemplary and outstanding among its peers.
