As the Christian faithful across the world commemorate the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, a frontline governorship aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the upcoming governorship election in Ondo State, Olugbenga Edema, has urged everyone to use the season as a time of reflection and renewal.
Edema, who conveyed his warm Easter message to the Christian community in the state, preached that the value of love and compassion should be paramount, which he said Easter signified.
In a statement released by his campaign organisation, the governorship aspirant, emphasised the significance of Easter as a time for hope, faith, and unity among all residents of Ondo State and the country as a whole.
He stated, "On this auspicious occasion of Easter, I extend my warmest wishes to Christians in Ondo State. May this season bring joy, peace, and blessings to your homes and communities."
Edema highlighted the importance of unity and tolerance, stressing that "Easter is a time for us to come together as one, regardless of our differences, and work towards a better future for our state.
