Man, 32, pleads guilty to stealing barbed wire in Ibadan

A Grade ‘A’ Customary Court at Iyaganku, Ibadan, on Thursday  remanded one Taofeek Adisa, 32, who pleaded guilty  to stealing a barbed wire.

Adisa, whose address was not provided, is charged with stealing.

The Court President, Mrs Moji Aworemi, adjourned the case until May 13 for review/presentation of facts and judgment.

She ordered that the defendant should be kept at the Agodi custodial facility pending judgment.

The prosecutor, Mr Philip Amusan, had told the court that Adisa committed the offence on May 2, at the premises of the Nigeria Immigration Service on Ring Road, Ibadan.

He said that the defendant stole the barbed wire belonging to the  Nigeria Immigration Service in contravention of the Criminal Laws of Oyo State, 2000. (NAN)
