A Grade ‘A’ Customary Court in Ibadan, on Friday, remanded a 33-year-old man, Jimoh Abdulahi,  in a correctional facility for pleading guilty to stealing a motorcycle worth N1 million.

Abdulahi, whose address was not provided, was charged with stealing, to which he pleaded guilty.

The President of the Court, Mrs Sukurat Yusuf, ordered that Abdulahi be remanded at the Agodi Correctional Facility in Ibadan pending presentation of facts and judgment.

Yusuf, however, adjourned the case until July 9 for review of facts and judgment.

The prosecutor, Mr Philip Amusan, had told the court that the defendant committed the offence between June 19 and June 30, at Odo-Ona area, Ibadan.

Amusan said that Abdulahi was given the TVS motorcycle by the owner, Mr Adaran Abayomi, to use for commercial purposes, but he made away with it instead.

He said the offence contravened Section 390(9) of the Criminal Laws of Oyo State, 2000. (NAN)
