Former Big Brother Naija contestant, Okunnuga Adeolu, popularly known as Saga, has voiced his dissatisfaction after being served what he described as a “mini amala” at a wedding event.
Saga took to Twitter, now X, to share a picture of the small amala portion, served in a parfait cup. In his post, he jokingly connected the small serving to Nigeria’s current economic situation.
In a humorous tweet, Saga blamed President Bola Tinubu, nicknamed "T-Pain," for the situation.
"They just served me ‘Mini Amala’ at a wedding now. T-Pain, you do this one,” he wrote.
Despite the lighthearted tone, Saga's comment struck a chord with many Nigerians, who are facing the challenges of rising food prices and living costs.
His post quickly gained attention, with many social media users sharing their own experiences of how inflation is affecting even celebratory events like weddings.
