In the ever-evolving political landscape of Delta State, Hon. His recent empowerment scheme, targeted at indigent women, students, and party faithfuls of Ughelli  South, especially Ughievwen Kingdom, stands out  as a testament to his dedication to improving lives and fostering sustainable development.

The empowerment scheme,  Which was done on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at Hon. Izeze’s Oginibo residence, was a collaborative effort with his associates from the formidable “FOOSTODEY” group. The initiative  provided much-needed financial assistance and resources to hundreds of beneficiaries within the Ughievwen Kingdom, directly aligning with the state’s MORE AGENDA of growth, inclusivity, and security, spearheaded by His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff Francis  Oborevwori.

At the core of this empowerment scheme lies a crucial element—economic support for women engaged in small-scale businesses. One hundred women, carefully selected from the 34 communities within Ughievwen Kingdom,  each received N50,000 to inject into their businesses. This is not just an act of financial aid; it is an investment in the future of these women, their families, and their communities. Hon. Izeze's focus on women as key agents of change highlights his understanding of the pivotal role women play in fostering sustainable community development. By targeting female entrepreneurs, the scheme empowered women to expand their enterprises, thus contributing to household income and overall economic stability within Ughelli South LGA

The magnanimous Hon Reuben Rume lzeze also remembered very well that
Education remains a cornerstone for any thriving society, and he demonstrated his unwavering support for young students with his bursary program. Two hundred students from Ughievwen Kingdom, enrolled and  studinng in various tertiary institutions across Nigeria,  received N25,000 each as part of the bursary support for the 2024 academic session. These students, who maintain a minimum CGPA of 2.50, benefited from this initiative, ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder their academic progress.

This targeted bursary support underscores Hon. Izeze’s commitment to youth development and educational empowerment. By prioritizing education, he is investing in the future leaders and professionals of Ughievwen Kingdom, ensuring that they are equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to contribute meaningfully to their communities and the state at large.
