The Special Engagement Sub-Committee of the APC National Campaign Council is set to hold an interactive session with various groups and organizations in Ondo State ahead of the upcoming governorship election scheduled for November 16, 2024.
The session will be led by the Chairman of the Special Engagement Sub-Committee, His Excellency Dikko Umar Radda, Governor of Katsina State, and Co-Chairman, His Excellency Rev. Father Hyacinth Alia, Governor of Benue State.
The event will take place on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at the International Conference Center (The Dome), located on Igbatoro Road, Akure, the capital of Ondo State.
Expected attendees include members of the NURTW, RTEAN, ACOMORAN, traditional rulers, religious leaders, non-indigenes, youth groups, market women, the Oodua People's Congress, hunters, vigilantes, Niger Delta ex-agitators, civil society organizations, NGOs, and individuals with disabilities (PWD), among others.
In a statement released by Hon. Femi Adekanmbi, Secretary of the Sub-Committee, it was emphasized that engaging with these strategic groups is crucial to mobilizing support for the APC gubernatorial candidate, Hon. Lucky Orimasan Aiyedatiwa, and his running mate, Hon. Olaide Adelami, ahead of the November 16 election.
