Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State has appointed Dr. Olusegun Victor Ategbole as the new Chairman of the Ondo State Hospital Management Board.
The appointment, which takes immediate effect, follows the elevation of the former chairman, Dr. Taiwo Fasoranti, to the position of Secretary to the State Government.
Dr. Ategbole, a seasoned medical practitioner with over 30 years of experience, has served in various healthcare institutions both in Nigeria and the United States. He hails from Oka Akoko in Akoko South West Local Government Area of the state.
Governor Aiyedatiwa urged the newly appointed chairman to bring his vast knowledge and professional expertise to bear in revitalizing the board and improving the delivery of healthcare services across the state.
The announcement was made in a statement issued by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, on July 7, 2025.
