TLG youth movement holds North Senatorial rotational meeting in Akoko North West

The Ondo North Zonal Rotational Meeting of The Lucky Guy (TLG) Youth Movement was held today at Olaniyi Hotels, Arigidi-Agbaluku Akoko, in Akoko North West Local Government Area, with an opening prayer said by Mr. Adekanmi Ademola Ebenezer, Secretary of TLG for Akoko North East Local Government.

The well-attended gathering brought together key stakeholders and youth coordinators from across the six local government areas of the senatorial district.

In his opening remarks, Hon. Bode Awe warmly welcomed participants and expressed appreciation to all who made time to attend. He reassured members that The Lucky Guy remains the right political movement for Nigeria, anchored on visionary leadership and youth mobilization.

Delivering an inspiring address, Hon. Prince Timothy Korede, the convener, gave a comprehensive overview of the group's activities and strategic goals. He lauded the dynamic leadership of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, emphasizing the governor’s efforts in granting the group visibility across the state. Hon. Korede reiterated TLG’s unwavering support for the governor's transformative agenda.

During the business session, the TLG Internal Campaign Team, Rooting for Asiwaju Datiwa 2027, presented a positive report that the people of Akoko North West Local Government and Ondo North are solidly behind Mr. Governor and are supporting his efforts to reshape the political landscape of Ondo State for a better future.

The gathering also commended Governor Aiyedatiwa for the recent approval of a ₦3.5 billion counterpart fund for the World Bank-backed Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP) during the State Executive Council meeting. This initiative is expected to improve rural road infrastructure and enhance agricultural productivity across Ondo State.

Participants further lauded the governor for the ongoing installation of motorized boreholes across Ondo North—a move seen as a direct intervention to improve access to clean water in underserved communities.

In addition, the announcement of Governor Aiyedatiwa’s victory at the Appeal Court was received with joy. Members unanimously described it as a mandate ordained by heaven and approved by God, affirming their continued support for his leadership.
