Dickson Donates Medical Equipment, Reaffirms Constituents’ Welfare as Top Priority

Former Bayelsa State Governor and Senator representing Bayelsa West, Henry Seriake Dickson, has restated his commitment to the health and well-being of his constituents.

The senator demonstrated this resolve with the donation of medical equipment to general hospitals in Sagbama and Ekeremor Local Government Areas, aimed at strengthening healthcare delivery across the senatorial district.

Represented by key stakeholders from both LGAs, Dickson was commended for consistently placing the welfare of his people at the forefront of his public service.

The Sagbama representative, Hon. Fyneman Wilson, in his remarks while handing over the medical equipments to the management of General Hospital Sagbama, urged the hospital management to ensure proper utilization of the medical equipments in service to the people.

He said the medical equipments are just a tip of the plans of the Senator in improving healthcare delivery to constituents by providing standard modern medical equipments to the general hospitals in the senatorial district for improved service delivery.

Receiving the items on behalf of the hospital management, Dr. Bethel Amabuke described Dickson as “a true leader who has always prioritized the well-being of the people while in public service.”

While assuring the former state helmsman's representative of efficient and effective utilization of the provided medical equipments, he reiterated the hospital management and staff commitment in providing quality medical care to the people.

Similarly, Chief Suru Oyarede, who represented Ekeremor, handed over the equipment to the General Hospital Ekeremor management, with an appeal that it be put to effective use in the service of the people.

He applauded Senator Dickson's relentless efforts and contributions, and commitment in improving the well-being of constituents ranging from infrastructure, education, healthcare, human capital development etc, since assumption in office as a federal lawmaker.

Dr. Abiri Tonworiyo, who received the equipment on behalf of the General Hospital Ekeremor, commended the senator for the gesture, noting that it would significantly enhance medical service delivery in the area.

He prayed to God to continue to bless and uplift the former governor to continue his good initiatives for the betterment of the people of the senatorial district and beyond.

He assured the federal lawmaker and representatives of the management and staff effective utilization of the medical equipments in service to the people of the local government area.
