The Dr. Nicolas Felix (DNF) Foundation International has once again demonstrated its commitment to community welfare with a Free Fuel Giveaway for residents of Oredo in Edo State.
The outreach, held at Shafa Filling Station, Dawson Junction, Akpakpava Road, Benin City, drew a large crowd of beneficiaries who expressed joy and appreciation for the Foundation’s humanitarian intervention.
The initiative, spearheaded by Dr. Nicolas Felix, Chairman/CEO of DNF Resources Oil & Gas Nigeria Ltd and Founder of the DNF Foundation, was aimed at cushioning the effects of the harsh economic situation and the high cost of fuel in the country.
Speaking at the event, representatives of the Foundation said the Free Fuel Giveaway formed part of Dr. Felix’s broader mission to ease the daily struggles of Nigerians and empower grassroots communities. They noted that the Foundation has consistently embarked on several humanitarian programmes across states, including educational support, youth empowerment, health outreaches, and community development initiatives.
Beneficiaries of the gesture expressed gratitude to Dr. Felix and the Foundation for what they described as a timely intervention. The event, which was well-coordinated, saw motorists, tricycle riders, and motorcyclists receive free fuel in an orderly manner, as the atmosphere was filled with excitement and commendations for the Foundation’s transparency and organisation.
