The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Ondo State Sector Command, says it has recovered an iPhone S16 pro max during an operation in the state.
Dr Samuel Ibitoye, FRSC State Sector Commander, made this know while speaking with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Thursday in Akure.
Ibitoye explained that the phone was recovered on Tuesday at about 9 a.m around Best Solution Polytechnic along Ondo Road in Akure when the personnel of the command was on patrol.
The sector commander, who said that FRSC was known for integrity, called on whoever misplaced their phone along the area to come with the proof of ownership.
“I am actually here to inform the public that as usual that road safety is known for its integrity and know for recovery of things and giving back to the owner intact.
“On Tuesday at exactly 9 am, Best Solution Polytechnic patrol point area . Our patrol team recovered an iPhone S16 Pro max worth about a million naira.
“So, I use this medium to tell Nigerians and Ondo State indigenes that whoever misplaced a phone around that side to come to FRSC headquarters, Akure/ Ilesha highway with the evidence of ownership.
“As we all know that FRSC will never miss anything kept or found during the crashes on the road because we are known for our integrity and none of our officials ever go against it,” he said.
