Ondo: Tinubu Support Group set for inauguration — Adegoroye

Former Minister of State for Transport, Sir Ademola Adegoroye, has disclosed that the Ondo State chapter of the Tinubu Support Group (TSG) is set to be inaugurated soon.

Adegoroye, who spoke in Akure at the weekend, said the group would serve as a key platform for grassroots mobilisation towards ensuring the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu with a resounding victory in the next general election.

Speaking after a well-attended TSG state caucus meeting, Adegoroye said: “The primary objective of Tinubu Support Group (TSG) is to champion the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, through activities designed to unify and strengthen the APC, sensitize and mobilize voters, with the support, under the guidance and leadership of His Excellency Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, Governor, Ondo State and Leader of the APC in Ondo State.”

He explained that the group was carefully building alliances across the state to bring major political figures under the leadership of Governor Aiyedatiwa for a united front ahead of the next election.

“We have decided to all work with the Governor to canvass, promote and mobilise for the re-election of President Asiwaju by propagating the laudable interventions of the President in Ondo State in particular and Nigeria in general,” he said, adding that since the governor is “at the forefront of such efforts, the TSG will be working under his guidance and leadership in the state.”

The former minister noted that members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and even politicians from other parties who admire President Tinubu’s achievements have shown strong interest in joining the group.

He added that the state chapter is being strategically organised for a robust and effective take-off, with Governor Aiyedatiwa set to serve as the Grand Patron of the TSG in Ondo State.
