The Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) has approved a technical presentation by Tantita Security Services Limited (TSSL) for its 2026 edition, marking a significant global acknowledgment of Nigeria’s private sector innovation in offshore security.
The session, scheduled for next year’s gathering of global energy leaders, will focus on the deployment of drone technology in protecting offshore oil platforms and monitoring maritime operations.
Tantita’s Executive Director of Technical and Operations, Captain Dr. Warredi Enisuoh, confirmed the development, describing it as a reflection of growing international recognition for the company’s operational efficiency and technological ingenuity.
The presentation, titled “Leveraging Unmanned Aerial Systems for Offshore Asset Protection,” will highlight how real-time surveillance and data-driven threat detection can enhance maritime safety and sustainability.
According to organisers, the paper aligns with OTC’s 2026 theme, which emphasises digitalisation, sustainability, and innovation across offshore energy systems.
The Offshore Technology Conference, renowned as the world’s premier offshore energy event, attracts thousands of industry experts, investors, and policymakers from around the globe.
