Mr. Segun Awolowo, grandson of the late statesman, Chief Obafemi Awolowo, has died, sending shock waves across the Awolowo family and political circles.
As reported by Western Post, although full details of his demise were still unclear as of the time of filing this report, family sources confirmed that the development had caused deep concern among relatives and associates.
Segun, who was until recently the Chief Executive Officer of the Nigeria Export Promotion Council, was said to have been battling an ailment for some time before his passing.
