The Consolidated APC Grassroots Movement (CAGrAM) has announced that preparations are complete for the 2025 National Grassroots Mobilization Summit, which is aimed at supporting the reelection bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Dr. Agbi Stephen Omobamidele, Chairman of the Central Organizing Committee, told newsmen on Monday that the summit would represent a significant milestone in the party’s efforts to strengthen its presence across the country.
The summit is scheduled to hold on December 16, 2025, at the NAF Conference Centre in Abuja. Omobamidele said it is expected to bring together thousands of grassroots leaders, coordinators, community mobilizers, youth and women groups, and other APC structures from across Nigeria.
He added that the event would include technical sessions, strategy briefings, data-sharing on voter trends, and discussions on enhancing community engagement under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
“The summit is designed to harmonize the activities of support groups and grassroots networks that have been operating independently since 2023.
“Our target is to build a disciplined, well-structured and highly motivated grassroots people capable of delivering at least 10 million votes for President Tinubu.
“Because the Renewed Hope Agenda has entered a phase where communication, public enlightenment and trust-building at the local level are crucial,” he said.
Several top government officials, lawmakers, APC stakeholders, and key grassroots organizers have reportedly confirmed interest in attending, describing the summit as “timely and politically strategic.”
Political observers noted that the summit could become a landmark event in party mobilization ahead of the 2027 elections, especially as political parties adjust their strategies following recent electoral developments.
CAGrAM said additional details on speakers, state delegations, and the programme will be released in the coming days.
