Senator Jide Ipinsagba has congratulated the newly inaugurated Special Advisers and top government officials appointed by Ondo State Governor, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, describing them as strategic additions to the administration’s drive for effective governance.
In a statement on Wednesday, the lawmaker representing Ondo North Senatorial District commended the appointees for what he called their “proven capacity” and “readiness to contribute meaningfully to the development of the state.”
He singled out Hon. Ameachi Kolawole Babatunde for special recognition, praising his consistent loyalty to the All Progressives Congress and his role in strengthening collaboration between the executive and the legislature.
Ipinsagba expressed confidence that his advisory duties would further reinforce political cohesion within the ruling party in the state.
The senator also applauded the appointment of Dr. Razaq Obe as Director-General of the Project and Performance Monitoring Unit.
He noted that Obe’s new role would be pivotal in enhancing government accountability, ensuring diligent project execution and improving service delivery across ministries and agencies.
Similarly, Ipinsagba congratulated Hon. Gani Muhammad Ajowa, who was reappointed as Special Adviser on Special Duties.
He said Ajowa’s renewed engagement was a clear endorsement of his track record, particularly in handling complex assignments vital to the implementation of the administration’s policy priorities.
He further extended his goodwill to Obayan Ayodeji, commending him as a grassroots politician widely admired in his community.
Using Ayodeji as a reference point, the senator urged all appointees to discharge their responsibilities with integrity, remain accessible to the people and deploy their offices for the good of the state.
Ipinsagba noted that the appointments—many of them drawn from Ondo North—reflect the zone’s strong contribution to the governance architecture of the state.
He expressed optimism that the combined expertise of the appointees would accelerate socio-economic development and improve the welfare of residents.
