A House of Representatives aspirant for Akoko North-East/North-West Federal Constituency, Hon. Akintunde Akingbola Ebenezer, has expressed confidence that the African Democratic Congress (ADC) will triumph over the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 general elections.
Akingbola, in statement said the growing dissatisfaction among citizens has positioned the ADC as the most viable alternative for Nigerians seeking genuine change.
According to him, “the APC has failed to deliver on the promises it made to Nigerians, and the people are now ready for a party that truly represents their hopes and aspirations.”
He stated that the ADC’s popularity across Ondo State and many parts of the country was a clear indication that the electorate was prepared to embrace a new political direction.
Akingbola stressed that his ambition to represent Akoko North-East/North-West was driven by the urgent need to restore effective representation and responsive leadership to the constituency.
“Our people deserve a representative who listens, understands their struggles, and is ready to work tirelessly for their progress,” he said.
He added that the ADC had built a strong grassroots structure capable of challenging the dominance of the ruling APC both at the state and national levels.
Akingbola also criticised the current economic hardship in the country, saying rising inflation, insecurity, and declining living standards had made it clear that Nigerians were yearning for a new leadership approach.
“By 2027, Nigerians will vote based on performance and sincerity, not political propaganda,” he noted.
He urged eligible voters in his constituency to remain hopeful and committed to supporting leaders who prioritise development, accountability and human capital growth.
Akingbola assured that if elected, he would focus on youth empowerment, improved infrastructure, quality education and policies that would promote economic opportunities for rural communities.
He reiterated his belief that the ADC would shock many in the coming polls. “The wind of change has already started blowing. ADC will win, and Akoko will not be left behind,” he said.
