A House of Representatives aspirant for Akoko North-East/North-West Federal Constituency, Hon. Akintunde Akingbola Ebenezer, says the African Democratic Congress is prepared to present credible candidates capable of winning the 2027 general elections.
Akingbola, in a statement, said growing public dissatisfaction had positioned the ADC as the most viable alternative for Nigerians demanding genuine change.
According to him, “the APC has failed to deliver on the promises it made to Nigerians, and the people are now ready for a party that truly represents their hopes and aspirations.”
He said the party’s rising popularity across Ondo State and several parts of the country showed that the electorate was ready to embrace a fresh political direction.
Akingbola explained that his decision to seek a seat in the House of Representatives was driven by the need to restore effective representation and responsive leadership to the constituency.
“Our people deserve a representative who listens, understands their struggles, and is ready to work tirelessly for their progress,” he said.
He added that the ADC had built a strong grassroots network capable of challenging the ruling APC at both state and national levels.
Akingbola also faulted the prevailing economic situation, noting that inflation, insecurity and declining living standards had made Nigerians eager for a new leadership approach.
“By 2027, Nigerians will vote based on performance and sincerity, not political propaganda,” he noted.
He urged voters in his constituency to support leaders committed to development, accountability and human capital growth, adding that if elected, he would prioritise youth empowerment, infrastructure, education and rural economic opportunities.
Reaffirming his confidence ahead of the polls, he said, “The wind of change has already started blowing. ADC will win, and Akoko will not be left behind.”
