Comr. Victor Amoko, former Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) in Ondo State, has commended Olori Adejumoke Adeleye, wife of the Olubaka of Okaland, for organizing the recently held Queen’s Christmas Carol Children’s Funfair.
Amoko, who is also an aspirant of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Akoko South West and South East Federal Constituency, described the event as a remarkable initiative that brought joy to children and families in the community.
In a statement issued on Monday, the former NUT chairman praised Olori Adeleye for her dedication to promoting cultural and recreational activities for children.
He said the programme was not only entertaining but also educational, adding that it reflected the queen’s commitment to community development and child welfare.
Amoko urged other prominent figures in the state to emulate the gesture, noting that such events foster social cohesion and provide children with opportunities to learn and interact in a safe environment.
The aspirant described the funfair as a “timely and impactful intervention” that brought smiles to children and rekindled the spirit of giving during the festive season.
