Nigeria’s Minister of Defence, Alhaji Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, has stepped down from office, attributing his resignation to health concerns.
The development was confirmed on Monday in a statement issued by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
In the letter, Badaru cited poor health as the reason for stepping down. President Tinubu has accepted the resignation and expressed gratitude for the minister’s service to the nation.
