BREAKING: Ex-CDS, Christopher Musa, meets Tinubu at Aso Villa

Former Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, on Monday evening held a meeting with President Bola Tinubu at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Musa, who arrived the State House at exactly 7:03 pm, was seen heading towards the President’s office wing in the company of a senior security official.

The former military chief, dressed in a dark-green northern-style outfit with elbow-length sleeves, is meeting Tinubu publicly for the first time since the President retired him from service on October 24, 2025.

Details of the discussion were not immediately available.

The visit comes at a time security agencies are battling a fresh wave of threats across the North, including the abduction of schoolgirls in Kebbi, an attack on worshippers in Eruku, Kwara State, and the kidnapping of Catholic schoolchildren in Minna, as counter-terrorism and anti-kidnapping efforts intensify across the North-West and North-Central regions.
