The Director-General, Delta State Bureau for Orientation and Communications, Dr Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe, has expressed strong confidence that Rt. Hon. Solomon Funkekeme will deliver effectively as the state coordinator of President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI).
Oghenesivbe, in a statement on Thursday, hailed Funkekeme’s leadership capacity and his exemplary record of service, recalling his role as Campaign Director General during the 2023 general elections.
He noted that Funkekeme coordinated multiple committees and subcommittees with precision, ensuring seamless operations and impactful outcomes for the party and the state.
He described Funkekeme as a “visionary team leader, go-getter, focused planner, and implementor” of strategic government policies and programmes, adding that Delta, as a major stakeholder in Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, stands to benefit from his political dexterity and administrative competence.
According to Oghenesivbe, Funkekeme’s appointment by the national leadership is widely regarded as a validation of his capacity to drive engagements, mobilise grassroots support and oversee development-driven interventions aligned with the goals of the RHI.
Oghenesivbe also expressed optimism that the initiative, under Funkekeme’s coordination, would accelerate the socioeconomic blueprint of the Tinubu administration, particularly in delivering people-oriented social intervention programmes across Delta.
He extended appreciation to President Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for the confidence reposed in Funkekeme, praying for divine wisdom, strength and guidance as he undertakes the new assignment.
“The appointment of Rt. Hon. Funkeke Solomon is a welcome development and will greatly advance Mr. President’s vision for the RHI in Delta State,” Oghenesivbe said.
