Actor and producer, Rotimi Salami, has reacted to the death of Nollywood actress, Allwell Ademola, while clarifying conflicting reports about her age.
Salami took to Instagram on Sunday to mourn the actress and shared an official statement issued by the Ademola family confirming her passing.
According to the family, Ademola was 49 years old at the time of her death, contrary to earlier reports that put her age at 43.
The family also expressed appreciation to friends, colleagues and well-wishers for the outpouring of support and condolence messages received since the news of her death broke.
“Praying for her soul to rest in peace,” the family said, adding that details of her burial arrangements would be announced later.
Sharing the family statement on his Instagram page, Salami wrote, “🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️.”
