A House of Assembly aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress for Akoko North West Constituency I, Mr Odudu Ayodele, popularly known as Manifold, has urged party members in the local government to participate fully in the ongoing APC electronic membership registration exercise.
Ayodele made the call in a statement made available to journalists on Tuesday, stressing that the success of the exercise was critical to strengthening the party’s structure at the grassroots.
The aspirant said the e-registration exercise would help the APC build a credible and reliable membership database capable of supporting internal democracy and effective planning ahead of future elections.
According to him, active participation by members would reaffirm their commitment to the ideals of the party and enhance unity within the APC in Akoko North West.
Ayodele described the initiative as a progressive step aimed at modernising party operations, adding that it would also provide an opportunity for new members to officially join the APC.
He urged party leaders, ward executives and local government coordinators to intensify mobilisation efforts to ensure that all eligible members were captured in the exercise.
The APC aspirant further encouraged party faithful to cooperate with registration officials and take advantage of the exercise to position the party for continued electoral success in the constituency.
