The first phase of the BTO4PBAT27 Ward Tour has commenced in Okitipupa, Ondo State, as the political support group intensified grassroots mobilisation in support of President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
The ward tour, organised by BTO4PBAT27, is aimed at consolidating support for Tinubu’s re-election while deepening political participation and stakeholder engagement at the community level. The initiative is being coordinated under the leadership of the Minister of Interior, Dr Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo.
Speaking at the flag-off ceremony in Okitipupa, the Local Government Coordinator of the group, Olalekan Akindehin, urged party members and supporters to remain steadfast in promoting the policies, achievements and vision of the President at the grassroots.
Akindehin emphasised that unity, consistency and sustained engagement with the people were critical to ensuring the successful implementation and acceptance of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
Also speaking, the Publicity Secretary of BTO4PBAT27, Folajimi Adewumi Gbenga, charged ward coordinators to demonstrate leadership beyond their official designations by actively mobilising members and convening regular ward meetings to sustain community participation.
In his remarks, the Director-General of BTO4PBAT27, Ogbeni Adesuyi Adojutelegan, called on members to remain united, politically active and committed to strengthening the All Progressives Congress at the grassroots.
He further urged members of the support group to formally register with the APC to consolidate the party’s base ahead of future electoral engagements.
As part of efforts to strengthen the party, Adojutelegan announced the donation of N1m to the APC in Okitipupa Local Government Area to boost ongoing membership registration and mobilisation activities.
The event recorded a large turnout of party members, ward coordinators and supporters, underscoring growing grassroots enthusiasm as the BTO4PBAT27 Ward Tour continues across other local government areas of Ondo State.
