Hon. Barr. Fola Olasehinde-Vicente has resigned from her position as Senior Special Assistant on Diaspora Matters to Ondo State Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.
The former aide announced her decision in a letter dated February 27, 2026, stating that it takes effect immediately.
“I hereby tender my resignation from the role of Senior Special Assistant on Diaspora Matters, effective from today,” she wrote.
She thanked Governor Aiyedatiwa for the opportunity to serve, adding that her role enabled her to advance the welfare and engagement of Ondo indigenes living abroad.
Olasehinde-Vicente, who was the first woman elected to the Ondo State House of Assembly, reaffirmed her loyalty to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
“I remain committed to our party, the APC, and will continue to play an active and supportive role within it,” she said.
She explained that the resignation was a carefully considered decision, aimed at allowing her to pursue the next stage of her professional and political journey.
