Dr Nicolas Felix has commended the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for her international engagements, saying her outreach has strengthened the country’s global image and diplomatic standing.
Felix, who placed third in the 2019 presidential election and later emerged as the youngest presidential aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress in 2023, stated this in a statement released on Sunday.
He said the First Lady’s participation in high-level global forums, bilateral meetings and multilateral platforms had continued to project Nigeria as a nation committed to progress, partnership and sustainable development.
According to him, her consistent advocacy for women empowerment, youth inclusion, healthcare delivery, education and social welfare has amplified Nigeria’s voice internationally while reinforcing its commitment to inclusive growth and human capital development.
Felix noted that the First Lady’s presence on international platforms had helped reposition Nigeria as a forward-looking and resilient country willing to collaborate with global partners for shared advancement.
He added that her engagements had also contributed to strengthening bilateral ties, attracting foreign investment and deepening development cooperation between Nigeria and other nations.
The former presidential aspirant further said the First Lady’s initiatives had boosted confidence among Nigerians in the diaspora, who see her advocacy as a reflection of purposeful leadership and national pride.
Felix stressed that sustained global engagement remained critical to attracting strategic partnerships, expanding economic opportunities and promoting mutual understanding in an increasingly interconnected world.
He concluded by applauding the First Lady’s dedication and patriotism, urging continued support for initiatives that enhance Nigeria’s image and strengthen its international collaborations.
