A chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress in Ondo State and former Chairman of the Nigerian Union of Teachers in the state, Comrade Victor Amoko, has commended Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa for what he described as remarkable achievements within his first year in office.
Amoko made the commendation in a statement issued to newsmen on Tuesday, praising the governor for initiating and commissioning several developmental projects across the state within a short period.
Amoko who is also an aspirant of the House of Representatives in the All Progressives Congress (APC) noted that the administration’s first year had been characterised by visible infrastructural renewal and people-focused policies aimed at improving the welfare of residents.
According to him, “Governor Aiyedatiwa has demonstrated purposeful leadership in just one year, and the commissioning of numerous projects across the state clearly shows his commitment to delivering democratic dividends to the people.”
Amoko added that the governor’s efforts in road construction, education, and other critical sectors had begun to transform communities while boosting economic activities.
“The fact that many projects have not only been initiated but successfully commissioned within his first year speaks volumes about his dedication to service and effective governance,” he said.
The former labour leader further stated that the projects had restored public confidence in government and brought development closer to the grassroots.
He said, “These projects are directly impacting the lives of ordinary citizens, improving infrastructure and creating opportunities for growth. The administration deserves commendation for sustaining this pace of development.”
Amoko urged residents of Ondo State to continue supporting the governor’s programmes, stressing that collective cooperation would help consolidate the progress already achieved and ensure greater development in the years ahead.
