The resolution was reached on Monday during a well-attended congress of the chapel in Sapele, Delta State, where members applauded the leadership style and performance of the current executive.
Moving the motion, a member of the chapel, Victor Otuya, commended Agbajor and his team for what he described as purposeful, inclusive and transparent leadership that has strengthened unity and professionalism among members.
Otuya said the executive had demonstrated administrative competence while promoting peace, welfare consciousness and effective engagement with stakeholders within and outside the media space.
The motion was seconded by Wilson Macaulay and supported by other members, including Malcolm Tagbarha and Peace Caleb, who described the confidence vote as a reflection of members’ satisfaction with the administration.
The congress also approved the constitution of an Election and Credentials Committee ahead of the chapel’s election scheduled for March.
The committee, which will screen aspirants and conduct the election, is chaired by Hope Akaezue, with Nicholas Omoko as Secretary and Victor Otuya as a member.
Responding, Agbajor thanked members for the confidence reposed in his leadership and pledged continued commitment to professionalism, members’ welfare and a credible electoral process.
