An All Progressives Congress aspirant for Akoko North West Constituency I in the Ondo State House of Assembly, Odudu Ayodele Samuel, has lauded Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa for what he described as remarkable strides in governance across the state.
Odudu, in a statement made available on Sunday, also singled out Gani Muhammed, an aide to the governor, for commendation, praising his commitment to supporting the administration’s development agenda.
The aspirant said the progress recorded under Aiyedatiwa’s leadership reflects purposeful governance driven by the needs of the people, noting that such efforts have continued to inspire confidence among residents of the state.
He stressed that Akoko North West Constituency I stands to benefit more from a leadership that aligns with the governor’s vision for sustainable growth and inclusive development.
Speaking on his ambition, Odudu said the constituency requires “genuine and people-focused representation” to unlock its full potential, adding that development can only be achieved through responsive and strategic leadership.
“Our constituency is yearning for true development, and that can only come through purposeful, people-oriented politics,” he said.
He described himself as a grassroots mobiliser with a deep understanding of the challenges facing the people, expressing readiness to attract projects and opportunities that would improve the standard of living in the constituency.
“I understand the needs and aspirations of our people. I know the right steps to take to ensure Akoko North West Constituency I gets its fair share of development,” he added.
Odudu, however, called on party members and constituents to rally behind his aspiration ahead of the 2027 elections, assuring them of effective representation and accountable leadership if elected.
