 .....Receives Royal, APC leaders' Blessing.

Hon Ohiremen Olabisi, has officially declared his ambition to contest the 2027 House of Assembly election for Ose Constituency on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), declaring that he will pursue people's Empowerment, youths employment and wealth creation.

The Assembly Hopeful stated this at official declaration in Ifon while addressing the APC local government Executives and stakeholders.

The APC Aspirant said he had supported education in the constituency through scholarships for hundreds of students, promising to sustain interventions that would secure the future of the younger generation.

Olabisi had earlier on Thursday during a visit to the palace of the Odibiado of Ijagba Land, Oba Andrew Ilevare Okioya, where he received royal blessings.

In his remarks, the monarch urged Olabisi to remain committed to acts of generosity and to prioritise the welfare of the people if elected.

Similarly, a Senior Chief in Ijagba, High Chief Sunday Ogoh, described the aspirant as a philanthropist known for extending support to the less privileged, particularly students.

He called on residents to rally support for Olabisi, noting that he had consistently awarded bursaries.

While addressing party members at the All Progressives Congress (APC) Secretariat in Ifon, Olabisi said: “I decided to contest based on my long-standing commitment to serve. I have been in the race since 2019 when I first contested for the position of Chairman but was unsuccessful.

“I tried again in 2023 with the same outcome. However, I believe this is the right time for me to secure the party’s ticket and serve the people.

“If given the opportunity, I will work to make the Assembly more impactful and responsive. There are several developmental gaps that need urgent attention.

“For instance, there is a lack of functional banking infrastructure in my area. I will work towards attracting financial institutions, improving existing structures, creating employment opportunities, and empowering the people.

“I am going into the Assembly to bring a new approach to legislative duties. My focus will be on the welfare of the people, not personal interests.

“The masses are facing significant challenges, and they deserve representation that prioritises their needs and delivers tangible results.

The Chairman of the APC in Ose Local Government, Hon. Adunbi Idowu, urged the aspirant to remain people-oriented and ensure effective representation if elected.

Also speaking, the President of NAOSS Global, Comrade Alade Temitope, commended Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa for his support for students and lauded Olabisi for following a similar path.

“Olabisi has helped so many students.

Please support Olabisi.”
