Akoko ADC Reps aspirant Akingbola felicitates Christians, promises quality representation


An aspirant for the House of Representatives in Akoko North East/North West Federal Constituency, , has extended Easter greetings to Christians, pledging to deliver effective and people-oriented representation if elected.

In a statement on Sunday, Akingbola, popularly known as Mogbaf’OGO, described Easter as a season of hope, sacrifice, and renewal, urging constituents to reflect on the virtues of love, unity, and selflessness exemplified by Jesus Christ.

He noted that the celebration of the resurrection of Christ symbolises victory over adversity and offers a message of hope for a better future.

The aspirant called on residents of the constituency to embrace peace and togetherness, stressing that sustainable development could only be achieved in an atmosphere of unity and cooperation.

“Easter reminds us of the power of sacrifice and the triumph of good over evil. It is a time for sober reflection and renewed commitment to building a better society,” he said.

Akingbola further assured the people of his readiness to provide purposeful leadership and quality representation that would address the needs of the constituency.

He pledged to prioritise youth empowerment, infrastructural development, and economic opportunities, noting that inclusive governance would be central to his legislative agenda.

The aspirant also urged Christians to use the period to pray for the peace and progress of Ondo State and Nigeria.
