Member of the House of Representatives for Ikeja Federal Constituency, James Faleke, has obtained the All Progressives Congress (APC) Expression of Interest and Nomination forms on behalf of President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
The development was confirmed on Tuesday at the APC National Secretariat in Abuja, where the party’s National Organising Secretary, Sulaiman Argungu, formally handed over the forms to Faleke.
The nomination package, pegged at ₦100 million, is part of the party’s recently approved timetable and guidelines for the 2027 general elections.
Earlier in April, the ruling party fixed the presidential nomination forms at ₦100 million, while governorship aspirants are expected to pay ₦50 million. Senate, House of Representatives, and State House of Assembly forms were pegged at ₦20 million, ₦10 million, and ₦5 million respectively.
The purchase of the forms is widely seen as a formal step towards the mobilisation for Tinubu’s second-term bid, though the party is yet to make further official comments on the development.
