The Senator representing Ondo North Senatorial District, Jide Ipinsagba, has congratulated former senator, Prof. Ajayi Boroffice, on the occasion of his birthday, describing him as a distinguished statesman whose contributions to the development of Ondo State remain enduring.
Ipinsagba, in a goodwill message on Thursday, joined family members, friends and associates to celebrate Boroffice, noting that his years of dedicated service to Ondo North had laid a solid foundation for continued progress in the district.
He said Boroffice’s leadership and commitment to public service had left a lasting legacy that continues to inspire both current and emerging leaders.
Ipinsagba stated, “Today, I join family, friends, and well-wishers to celebrate a distinguished elder statesman and a leader I hold in high esteem, Prof. Ajayi Boroffice.
“Sir, your years of dedicated service to Ondo North established a solid legacy that many of us are now privileged to follow. While we may represent different chapters in this journey of service, your contributions remain a vital part of the foundation we continue to build upon.”
The lawmaker also prayed for continued good health and strength for the elder statesman.
“I wish you continued good health, renewed strength, and many more years of relevance and honour,” he added.
Boroffice, who represented Ondo North in the Senate, is widely regarded as one of the prominent political figures from the district.
