The Nigeria Union of Journalists, Ondo State Council, has congratulated a media professional and Director of Media and Corporate Communications at the National Space Research and Development Agency, Dr Felix Babatunde Ale, on the occasion of his birthday.
In a statement issued on Thursday by the council’s Secretary, Olaoluwa Meshack, the union described Ale as a distinguished media strategist, mentor and philanthropist whose contributions to journalism and public communication have remained impactful.
The council noted that Ale’s career, which spans service as Press Secretary to both military and civilian governors in Ondo State, reflected dedication, professionalism and strong ethical values.
It commended his role in promoting excellence within the media space, particularly through initiatives such as the institution of annual awards for serving and retired journalists in the state.
According to the NUJ, the initiative has helped to motivate practitioners while fostering mentorship and professional growth among journalists.
The statement also highlighted Ale’s current role at the National Space Research and Development Agency, noting that his work has contributed to shaping public narratives and strengthening institutional communication.
The union further praised his leadership style, describing it as selfless and inspiring, with a commitment to uplifting others in the profession.
The NUJ, however, prayed for continued good health, strength and greater accomplishments for Ale in the years ahead.
