The Nigerian Army has called on youths in Ondo State to take advantage of its ongoing 91 Regular Recruitment Intake, describing the exercise as a pathway to national service and career development.
In a statement issued on Thursday, the Army said the recruitment, which covers trades and non-trades categories, offers young Nigerians an opportunity to contribute to national security while gaining professional training and advancement in various fields.
The statement, signed by Major Njoka Irabor of the 32 Artillery Brigade, urged eligible youths to apply through the official recruitment portal between March 30 and May 17, 2026.
According to the Army, the enlistment process is entirely free, warning applicants to be wary of fraudsters and middlemen who may attempt to exploit them.
It noted that successful candidates would benefit from structured career opportunities in areas such as engineering, medicine, information and communication technology, logistics, and administration.
The military authority stressed its commitment to recruiting disciplined and patriotic individuals who embody the core values of loyalty, integrity, courage, and selfless service.
It also appealed to traditional rulers, community leaders, parents, and guardians across Ondo State to mobilise and encourage youths to participate in the exercise.
The Army added that broad participation would not only empower young people but also strengthen efforts toward a more secure and united Nigeria.
