A House of Representatives aspirant for Akoko South East/South West Federal Constituency in Ondo State, Victor Ategbole, has reportedly been screened and cleared by the All Progressives Congress ahead of the party’s primary election.
Ategbole, a medical doctor and chieftain of the APC, was said to have successfully scaled through the screening exercise conducted by the party as preparations intensify for the forthcoming primary.
The clearance is expected to boost his campaign within the constituency as party stakeholders and supporters gear up for the contest to determine the APC candidate for the next general election.
Sources within the party disclosed that the screening committee found the aspirant qualified after reviewing his credentials and other requirements stipulated by the party.
