APC Primaries: Ajongbolo hails Tinubu, Ipinsagba, Adefarati, urges party unity

A House of Representatives aspirant for Akoko South East/Akoko South West Federal Constituency, Hon. Seun Oluwashina Ajongbolo, has congratulated President Bola Tinubu, Senatorial candidate Jide Ipinsagba, and House of Representatives candidate Gboyega Adefarati following their victories in the recent All Progressives Congress primaries.

Ajongbolo, in a statement issued on Monday, described the outcome of the party primaries as a reflection of the democratic will of party stakeholders and a positive development for the APC ahead of future elections.

He praised President Tinubu over his emergence at the party level, expressing confidence in the administration’s Renewed Hope agenda and its commitment to national development.

According to him, the outcome of the exercise reaffirmed the confidence party members and supporters continue to place in the President’s leadership and political direction.

The APC chieftain also congratulated Senator Jide Ipinsagba on securing the party’s senatorial ticket, describing him as an experienced politician with the capacity to provide quality representation.

Ajongbolo further extended his goodwill to Hon. Gboyega Adefarati on his emergence as the party’s candidate for the House of Representatives seat, noting that the primary election demonstrated the importance of internal democracy and party cohesion.

“Democracy is strengthened when collective interest is placed above personal ambition. While elections naturally produce different outcomes, the ultimate goal should remain the unity, progress, and advancement of our people and the party,” he said.

He called on APC members, supporters, and stakeholders across Akoko South East and Akoko South West Federal Constituency to remain united and continue working for the growth of the party.

Ajongbolo also reaffirmed his loyalty to the APC, pledging continued support for the party and all its candidates ahead of future political contests.

Political observers believe the statement may help foster reconciliation and strengthen unity within the party following the conclusion of the primary election process.
