An aspirant in the All Progressives Congress (All Progressives Congress) House of Assembly primary election for Idanre State Constituency, Hon. Aderemi Oyewole Guilder, has emerged as the party’s candidate after securing 5,440 votes in the exercise.
Guilder, while addressing journalists after the announcement of the results, described the outcome as a strong demonstration of confidence reposed in him by party members and stakeholders across Idanre Kingdom.
The APC candidate expressed appreciation to the Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, party leaders, elders, stakeholders and delegates for their support during the primary election.
According to him, the mandate comes with a responsibility to serve the people diligently and promote development within the constituency.
“I appreciate the governor, leaders of our party, stakeholders and delegates who supported my aspiration throughout the process. This victory is a call to service, and I remain committed to the progress of our constituency,” he said.
Guilder stated that the success recorded at the primary election was a collective achievement for members and supporters of the APC in the constituency.
He urged party faithful to remain united ahead of the forthcoming election, stressing that unity and cooperation would be essential to ensuring victory for the party.
The lawmaker hopeful also thanked residents of Idanre for their confidence in his aspiration, promising to provide effective representation and pursue policies aimed at improving the welfare of the people.
He added that he would continue to work closely with stakeholders across the constituency to justify the trust placed in him and facilitate meaningful development in the area.
