A youth leader and stakeholder in Akoko North West Constituency II of Ondo State, Hon. Fatoba Emmanuel, popularly known as FATKING, has congratulated Hon. Tiamiyu Opeyemi Sunmonu on his emergence as the candidate of the All Progressives Congress for the Ondo State House of Assembly election.
In a statement made available to journalists on Tuesday, FATKING described Sunmonu’s victory at the APC primary election as a testament to his acceptance among party members and residents of the constituency.
He said the APC candidate had demonstrated commitment, hard work and leadership qualities capable of attracting meaningful development to Akoko North West Constituency II.
According to him, Sunmonu possesses the capacity to provide quality representation and deliver people-oriented leadership if elected.
The youth leader also expressed confidence in Sunmonu’s relationship with young people, describing him as a politician who understands the aspirations and challenges facing youths in the constituency.
He said, “I know Hon. Tiamiyu Opeyemi Sunmonu very well, and I can confidently say that he is a youth-friendly leader who has the interest of the youths at heart. He will not only do better, but he will support and empower the youths beyond what you can currently imagine.”
FATKING assured residents, particularly youths, that the APC flagbearer would promote inclusive governance and create opportunities that would improve their welfare.
He, however, urged members and stakeholders of the APC in the constituency to close ranks and work together ahead of the forthcoming election.
According to him, unity within the party remains crucial to securing victory at the polls.
“The change we youths have been yearning for is finally here in Constituency II. With Hon. Tiamiyu Opeyemi Sunmonu, the narrative is about to change for good,” he added.
FATKING further congratulated the APC candidate and expressed optimism that the constituency would witness progress and development under Sunmonu’s representation.
