‘God directed Pastor Lazarus to relocate to Kenya’ — Cleric

A Kenyan cleric, Julian Kyula, has said that Apostle Femi Lazarus and his wife were divinely instructed to relocate to Kenya.

As reported by Sun Newspaper, Kyula, who is the lead pastor of The Purpose Centre Church, made the remark while welcoming Lazarus and his wife during a church service, according to a video circulating on social media.

Addressing the congregation, Lazarus said their visit to Kenya marked the beginning of a new phase in their ministry, adding that their decision was based on what he described as divine instruction.

He noted that they came not only to fellowship but also to connect with what he termed a significant spiritual assignment.

“We came this morning not just to listen to the word but recognising that this is more than a church; it is a gate,” he said.

The cleric added that he had earlier shared the directive with Kyula, whom he described as a respected spiritual leader.

Lazarus also expressed appreciation for the reception accorded him and his team, stating that their visit was aimed at receiving spiritual impartation and strengthening their mission.

Responding, Kyula disclosed that the Nigerian preacher had been led by God to establish a base in Kenya, describing the development as a significant moment for the country.

According to him, the presence of globally recognised ministers choosing Kenya as a base signals a season of divine favour for the nation.

He likened the development to historic visits by renowned ministers, urging Kenyans to take advantage of what he described as a “moment of visitation.”
