A House of Representatives aspirant, Hon. Moruf Tosin, popularly known as Hon Murphy, has secured fresh endorsements from two political groups in Akoko North East Local Government Area of Ondo State as consultations ahead of the party primaries intensify.
The endorsements came from the One Voice Group Akoko North East and Odatiwa Akoko North East during separate meetings held with the aspirant.
At a meeting with ward executives of the One Voice Group in Akoko North East, members expressed confidence in Murphy’s leadership qualities and capacity to deliver effective representation if elected.
The group thereafter adopted a resolution endorsing his aspiration ahead of the forthcoming primaries.
Murphy later met with executives of Odatiwa Akoko North East, where he was also received by members and subsequently endorsed following deliberations on his political ambition and plans for the constituency.
Speaking during the engagements, the aspirant appreciated the two groups for their support and confidence in his vision for the constituency.
He assured members that he remained committed to promoting good governance and quality representation, adding that his campaign blueprint, tagged “Kajose–Kajoje,” would focus on youth and women empowerment, infrastructural development, and overall progress of Akoko North East.
Murphy noted that the endorsements would further motivate him to intensify consultations and strengthen his commitment to the people.
The leadership of both groups described the aspirant as a credible and accessible politician with a clear understanding of the developmental needs of the constituency.
