Leading Reps aspirant, Murphy Tosin, receives royal blessing from Olukare ahead of APC primaries

A House of Representatives aspirant for Akoko North West Constituency II, Moruf Tosin, popularly known as Hon Murphy, has received royal blessings from the Saliu Akadri Adekadejo Momoh IV ahead of the forthcoming All Progressives Congress primaries.

Murphy received the monarch’s prayers and endorsement during a visit to the royal palace in Ikare Akoko, Ondo State, as part of his consultations with stakeholders across the constituency.

The aspirant was warmly received by the traditional ruler and members of his council of chiefs during the visit.

Speaking during the interaction, Murphy appreciated the longstanding relationship among communities within the constituency and appealed for continued unity and cooperation.

“Ikare Akoko and other towns in Akoko North West Constituency II, including Ogbagi, Irun, Ese and Afin, have shared a strong relationship over the years. This bond dates back to the era of the late Hon Falade in Irun and Chief Umar Korobo, the late Oluko. I appeal that this unity and love should continue, and I seek your support,” he said.

He also reaffirmed his commitment to the growth and development of the constituency if elected into the House of Representatives.

The Olukare, in his response, offered prayers for Murphy’s success, protection and victory in the forthcoming primaries.

The monarch and his chiefs also assured the aspirant of their fatherly support while urging him to remain committed to programmes and initiatives that would positively impact the people of the constituency.

The visit formed part of Murphy’s ongoing engagements with traditional rulers and community leaders across Akoko North Federal Constituency ahead of the APC primary election.
