The African Democratic Congress candidate for Ondo North Senatorial District, Foluso Mayowa Adefemi, has pledged to provide quality representation and responsive leadership to the people of the district following his emergence as the party’s flag bearer.
Adefemi, in a message released shortly after securing the ticket, expressed appreciation to party members, supporters and residents of the senatorial district for the confidence reposed in him.
The politician, whose appreciation message was circulated on Thursday, specifically thanked stakeholders and supporters across the six local government areas in Ondo North for their support during the party’s selection process.
He assured the people that his aspiration was driven by a commitment to attract development, improve the welfare of residents and give effective voice to the district at the National Assembly.
“A heartfelt thank you to the good people of Ondo North for your unwavering support, trust and belief in our shared vision. This victory belongs to all of us and marks the beginning of a renewed journey towards purposeful representation,” he said.
Adefemi added, “I am fully committed to offering quality representation that will prioritise the welfare of our people, youth empowerment, economic growth and infrastructural development across the senatorial district.”
The ADC candidate also called on party faithful and residents of the constituency to remain united ahead of the forthcoming election, stressing that collective efforts would be needed to achieve victory at the polls.
He further promised to run an issue-based campaign centred on education, job creation and community development, assuring residents that he would remain accessible and accountable if elected into office.
