A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Ondo State, Rt. Hon. Abdulsalam Taofiq, has intensified mobilisation efforts across the state in support of the re-election bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of Saturday’s presidential primary election.
Abdulsalam was said to have engaged party leaders, delegates and supporters across the state, urging them to remain united and deliver massive support for the President during the exercise.
According to him, continuity in government policies remains essential to sustaining ongoing economic reforms, infrastructural development and governance initiatives introduced under the Tinubu administration.
He stressed that maintaining the current policy direction would further strengthen national development, economic stability and democratic governance across the country.
The APC stalwart also appealed to party members in wards and local government areas across Ondo State to participate actively in the primary election and conduct themselves peacefully throughout the process.
He urged stakeholders and supporters to demonstrate discipline, cooperation and commitment to ensure a hitch-free exercise.
As voting commenced on Saturday, political activities intensified within party circles, with stakeholders making last-minute consultations ahead of key decisions on President Tinubu’s re-election bid.
Observers said Abdulsalam’s mobilisation drive reflects ongoing efforts by party loyalists in Ondo State to consolidate support for the President ahead of the 2027 general election.
