The Ondo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress has invited aggrieved aspirants in the House of Representatives primary elections to present their complaints before the party’s Primary Appeal Committee.
The party disclosed that the committee would sit on Saturday at the APC State Secretariat located along Olu Obasanjo Road, Akure, to entertain petitions arising from the conduct of the primaries.
In a statement issued by the State Secretary of the party, Alex Kalejaye, the APC urged dissatisfied aspirants to take advantage of the appeal process established to ensure fairness and justice within the party.
The statement noted that the committee would remain at the secretariat until all complaints brought before it had been treated.
The party also assured members that the exercise was aimed at promoting equity and sustaining unity among stakeholders following controversies that trailed some of the primary elections across the state.
“The committee will remain at the secretariat till all aspirants with cases have been attended to, in the interest of fairness and unity of the fold,” the statement read.
