A prominent legal practitioner, Tolu Babaleye, has been inaugurated as a board member of the Corporate Affairs Commission representing the Nigerian Bar Association.
Babaleye expressed appreciation to the President of the NBA, Afam Osigwe, for considering him worthy of the appointment.
In a statement made available to journalists, the lawyer described the appointment as a call to greater service and pledged to represent the interests of the association diligently on the board of the commission.
He said the recognition reflected confidence in his years of experience and commitment to the legal profession.
“I am grateful to the President of the NBA for considering my experience and loyalty to the Bar and counting me worthy of the appointment.
“I promise to represent the interest of the association to the best of my ability,” Babaleye stated.
The legal practitioner also congratulated members of the NBA on the creation of the Oka-Akoko branch of the association, describing the development as a landmark achievement for lawyers in the area.
