Support has continued to build around the aspiration of environmental activist and peace advocate, Chief Comrade Sheriff Mulade, to represent Warri Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.
Political stakeholders, youth groups, community leaders, and civil society advocates across Delta State have described Mulade as a strong contender whose years of activism, humanitarian interventions, and grassroots engagement distinguish him in the race.
Mulade, who serves as the National Coordinator of the Centre for Peace and Environmental Justice, is widely known for his advocacy on environmental justice and the protection of oil-bearing communities in the Niger Delta.
Over the years, he has consistently campaigned for environmental remediation, sustainable development, and improved living conditions for communities affected by oil exploration activities.
His advocacy efforts have also attracted international attention through engagements on global media platforms, where he highlighted the environmental challenges confronting the Niger Delta region.
Beyond activism, Mulade has earned recognition for his youth development initiatives, particularly through his sports development programme in Ugolo-Okpe, Delta State.
The sports facility, known as Games Village, has reportedly provided opportunities for youth engagement, talent discovery, and community development within the region.

Mulade recently visited Spain as part of efforts to promote African youth sports and create international opportunities for young talents from the Niger Delta and other parts of the continent.

Community leaders in Gbaramatu Kingdom have described him as a bridge-builder committed to peace, justice, and inclusive development.
His traditional title of “Ibeserimowei” in Gbaramatu Kingdom was said to reflect recognition of his contributions to community development and advocacy within the kingdom.
Political observers believe Mulade’s entry into the Warri Federal Constituency race has introduced a strong grassroots dimension to the contest, especially among youths and environmental rights advocates.
According to analysts, the constituency requires leadership with broad grassroots acceptance, negotiation capacity, and understanding of developmental challenges affecting oil-producing communities.
They noted that Mulade’s background in environmental justice and peacebuilding could strengthen advocacy for legislation on environmental remediation, youth empowerment, and sustainable development if elected into the National Assembly.
